# Creative Images

> How do I set the creative image for an Order?

# Front Image

For postcards, notecards, magnacards, and giftcards, this will be used for the front of the mailer.  For windowed and windowless letters this will be used for the background of the cover letter.

The creative can be specified in two different ways:

* Using `front_image_url` a URL can be specified to an png or jpeg image.
* Using `image_template` a template ID can be specified to use a pre-designed thanks.io image template for the mailer.

# Back/Interior Image

* Using `custom_background_image` a URL can be specified to an png or jpeg image.  This will be used for the back of postcards/magnacards or the interior of notecards.  This is not used for giftcards or letters.
